slaughter ewes steady; feeder lambs not well tested.

Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 2-3 90-150 lbs:
  Sioux Falls:    shorn and wooled 120-160 lbs 146.00-150.00.
Slaughter Lambs:  Choice and Prime 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:    wooled and shorn 84 lbs 147.50; 90-100 lbs 147.50-
                  152.50.
Slaughter Ewes:
  Sioux Falls:    Good 3-4 (very fleshy) 65.00; Good 2-3 (fleshy)
                  67.50-72.50; Utility 1-2 (thin) 51.00-59.00; Cull and
                  Utility 1-2 43.00; Cull 1 42.00.
Feeder Lambs:   Medium and Large 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:    59 lbs 177.50; 61 lbs 187.50; 77 lbs 162.50.
Replacement Ewes: Medium and Large 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:    no test.

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date
totaled 24,000 compared with 15,000 last week and 24,000 last year.
